As far back as I could remember I have always loved education and helping people.  Learning has been a passion that resides within me fervently.  I am a medical doctor with two master degrees, one in business administration and my other master degree in health care administration. As I continued in the world of education, I began to find passion in the administrative field in higher education. Currently, I am the Dean of Faculty for an online university.  This role has furthered my passion in higher education by training, guiding, and supporting faculty in meeting the expectations and standards of our university.  Becoming an instructional designer feels natural and significantly important, especially in my current role.  Understanding design, instruction, curriculum, and technology have given me the tools to apply this in my current position and thus help elevate the standards of our university.  I have designed and prepared curriculum for higher education courses and been fortunate to embrace technology within the educational outline.  Students performance and outcomes speak for themselves and thus, further increased my passion to continue to grow.  ​​I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to build a career by doing what I love. From a young age, I had a vision for what I wanted my professional future to look like. As the focused and goal-driven person that I am, I decided to pursue my dream and make it happen.Throughout the years, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way.
